“This is a must-play course in eastern North Carolina. Wilson Country Club is an outstanding property overall, and we are eager to see its growth over the next few years.”

Wilson Country Club

Wilson Country Club opened in 1915 on the site that is currently known as Willow Springs Country Club. The club grew at a rapid rate following WWII and the size of the membership eventually grew too large for its initial home. In order to expand for its membership, the club moved across town to its current site in 1973. William Byrd designed the current course layout. He designed and remodeled over 100 golf courses during his career which spanned nearly five decades. His Wilson Country Club design still receives rave reviews for its beauty and overall playability. It also boasts a No. 6 spot under the North Carolina Golf Panel's Eastern Regional Rankings.
